any body know about dvd-r 9.4 gb, i have sony dvd dw-u12a writer but i dont know any idea it can possible or not? give me any idea please

I know that pioneer makes a dual sided 9.4 Gig DVD-R. It should be compatible with every recoder, since all it's just two 4.7 discs fused to gether just record one side then flip it over,and do the same. I don't know what the layer transition is like, though. Never tried them. They're very expensive, and not generally worth it, in my opinion. Not with so many cheap and decent 4.7 Gig DVD-Rs on the market. Just buy two of those. Far cheaper.

There isn't any "layer transition" -- you have to physically flip the disc over to play the second side.
Dual-layer recordables do not exist, and the technical barriers to developing one (at least, one that would be compatible with existing DVD players and recorders) are such that they are unlikely to exist anytime in the foreseeable future.
