  1. I've been trying to make vcds from divx format lately to watch then on my dvd player. I use TMPGEnc to do the conversion. That works with no problem however the vcds are much to big to burn to a cd so im trying to "cut" them. I follow the directions on how do cut it with MPGEnc on this site however i get a Memeory adress error. I tryed to use My Flix 3.0 to cut it with and everytime i use that to cut it the sound is messed up with i play in on my dvd player. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to fix my problem or on another program i could use that would work better?

Try and get hold of a copy of
    JIAO VCDCutter 4.01
There is a version 4.03 but I never got it to cut more than 7 seconds - even after proper registering.
I use this prog and get good cuts, you can cut to as many spilts as you like from your mpegs, eg 2, 3 ,4 5 etc

Don't edit a MPEG after encoding, if you have one more choice. You could cut the AVI. You could use TMPG's source range to encode in several parts. Have a look at Sefy's DVD ripping guide (your source is avi, but there is no difference using the source range) and use TMPG's batch encode mode.
