I have a bundle of recordings at XSVCD spec (480x480 - 5800kbps) and have been happily burning CD-R's to watch in my cheap-o Apex player or - more importantly - on my computer during my commute. This was great before I burned 100+ CD's... too heavy to carry along.
I would now like to make collections of DVD-R's which will obviously hold much more content. I used DVDPatcher to change the header then ULead's Moviefactory 2 to build my DVD. When I import the video, Moviefactory now recognizes it as "DVD Compliant"... but all is not well.
The video is being cropped and I'm losing a significant part of the picture on the right side. My guess is I'm seeing 352 pixels of the 480 pixels I have in the video. It's not resizing my image just chopping off the right! I went forward to create the VIDEO_TS folders and the program converted all video's as well (in 8+hours). I've used DVD Patcher before and it worked. What's wrong now?
What's the easiest (least steps) way for me to take my XSVCD content and prepare for DVD? I'd ideally like a solution that allows me to build custom menu's like Moviefactory allows. I've been on this site for a couple years and I know you guys can help!
