LG Macrovision Hack - It is possible...

Hey!

Everybody always said that VCD hacks for the LG-5822N was NOT possible until... someone found out how to do it. And it WORKED!!

Everybody always said that SuperVCD hacks for the LG-5822N was NOT possible until... someone found out how to do it. And it WORKED!!

I KNOW for a fact, because there were people on pages on the internet that said they HACKED their 5822N for Macrovision (instead of the old microchip change) and it WORKED... only I couldn't find anyone who was kind enough to explain how to do it.

Any good hearted people out there, please?

how can i hack my lg 5822n for svcd? I have the vcd hack...but i can´t play svcd...

ENABLE SVCD ON LG DA-5630 home cinema
(tryed with PAL system, NTSC no info - maybe)

1, Power on your DVD without disk (display "NO DISK")
2, Press PAUSE
3, Press on remote control: 1,4,7,2 (you're in service mode: first write the origin characters)and
4, Press UP ARROW (^) key 6 times - on display (in the first row) you see the origin 00 characters
5, Press PROGRAM and 6 keys after press PROGRAM and 5 (the 00 characters changed FE)
6, Press ENTER and RETURN
7, Turn power off and power on the DVD player

It's amazing! Your DVD can play the SVCD!!! )

change the 7th set of numbers from whatever they are to FE.
press programme,then 6,then press programme then 5.
then pause and off then on..
and thats svcd enabled.
for vcd..its the 4th set you change from whatever to FE.

This hack looks like the Zenith XBV model Hack! Must be the same unit.
