  1. hi there,
i ve been posting and browsing everywhere on the web and i still didn't get an answer to my question which sound quite newbie kind of type but nobody could help me yet but i won't give up as u see!!!
i ve actually got two probs: but the 2. one ill put in to another thread!
    here it is:

I want to copy all my VHS tapes (european) to my pc using my vcr and my TV-Card (TV-In, Composite-In, S-Video-In and Antennas) or using my ATI RADEON 9000 ViVo (not Pro) with S-Video In/Out and Composite In/Out hence ViVo. so how do i have to connect my pc??? do i have to use a DV-Cam linking the VCR to my PC or can i use a Scart adapter with a composite, audio right and audio left cable leading straight from my VCR to my pc, but where do i have to put the other end in to my pc? the capturing itself i guesss wont be the problem, i will use adobe premiere or virtual dub etc.! or what do u suggest? but please help me with those connections!!!
    thx

You can use either, but if you use scart to pc, the audio connections need to go to the line in on your soundcard (see my reply to your other thread).

  5. get a scart adapter from maplins (make sure its two way) connect video to s-video in on capture card and connect left and right audio to audio in on soundcard (a right mares nest of cables) and you should be able to capture away to your hearts content. I have a similar set up but have not yet tried any capturing (I'm frightened my pc and hard disk wont be up to it1)
