what joke, im serious, evertime i get done watching a movie, i have to just sit there and hold rewind for about 5minutes -- its getting really annoying

I'm too lazy to rewind the DVDs myself, so I just eject them and put them back in the case and let the DVD Faeries rewind them for me.

The last time I checked DVDs are discs, not tapes. They don't need no rewinding.

Yes and I am tired of renting DVD's from blockbuster and they were not rewound when I got them home!!!!

Is that why you call yourself "Watcher"?
thxkid,
I lost my membership to Blockbuster for continually handing back unrewound disks. -
If you want a DVD Rewinder then check out some prices at
http://www.Bigpileofbologna.com
I think their cheapest was $19.96 US.
Their more expensive ones could do 5 discs at a time

Does anybody know where i can get hold of a left handed hammer? -
I've been using my CD rewinder that I bought about 12 years ago. DVDs are physically the same size as CDs, but I suspect that since there is greater data on a DVD as compared to a CD it takes longer to rewind a DVD on a CD rewinder than a genuine DVD rewinder. Still, I've received no complaints from Blockbuster about my DVDs rewound on my CD rewinder.
Interestingly though, while I have had great success using the Bedini CD Demagnetizer to improve CD sound, it is essentially ineffectual with both VCDs and DVDs. This phenomena I cannot explain.

I'm gettin' a little tired of these "Please Be Kind and Rewind" stickers on every DVD I rented. -
I dug up an old BIC pen that I used to use on my cassette tapes. It works great but I had to modify it a bit because the hole is bigger.

At my local video store they put those stickers on their dvds -
A doble layer DVD, it's like an autoreverse cassete, so when you finish both sides you have already rewind it, so please don't worry. -
Please remember that when rewinding DVD that it should not be in play mode. If you rewind it while its playing then you will wear out the disks a lot faster and the tape heads on the player will suffer increased wear. Before you rewind the disk make sure it is stopped, just as you do with a VHS tape.
-
instead of rewinding, i'd use the 'select chapter' feature of the dvd's main menu, select chapter 1, then eject the dvd, before returning it...
-
Its even worse trying to rewind them if your using a PS2 joypad, man that can get fiddly >>>>!
-
If the VCD is one of those double sided, do you fast foward side A, and rewind side B ?
-
We had it good many years ago with 8 track tapes...we
didn't have to rewind them. -
"We had it good many years ago with 8 track tapes...we

Of course not! 8tracks could not BE rewound. Silly person.
Not like the DVDs anyway.
I do not rewind my DVDs or VCDs, but I DO rewind my PSX and Saturn games. I got into that habit with my old Sega CD system.
