  1. I'm converting a movie following the guidlines on here. I've converted loads before some with lip sync probs some not but now its driving me mad. I use vdub to extract audio and tmpgenc to convert but on this particular film the lip sync is bad from the start. I've seen someone advise somewhere to apply audio offset in tmpgenc, I can't find that on the tmpgenc programme can any one tell me where to find it .

  2. if by lipsync you mean the audio is out of sync with the video??

The setting you refer to in TMPGEnc is in the 'Source Range' settings in the wizard - it's called 'audio gap correct'.

    Good luck.

    cheers,

  3. You could always use DVD2SVCD and get a copy of Cinemacraft encoder. I use this all the time and always get perfect in synch results, just leave it running to do its job on a 3 pass VBR setting. Output is excellent quality SVCD.

    Good luck Tom
