  1. Hey!

It's a real pain. I wanna cut out commercials from Mpeg2 file and
programs like Winproducer and Tmpegenc reencode the file 1 more time!!
It is way longer than jus cut and join like avi with Vdub.
Is there any faster soft not changing the edited file??
    Help me!

Mpeg can only be cut on an I-Frame. Regardless of what program you are using to cut, this is always going to be the case. Programs like TMPGenc and such are not re-encoding the whole file, they are inserting an I-Frame at the specified point, if one does not already exist, and are re-encoding all the other frames in that GOP. The only way to avoid this is to only allow cutting on an I-Frame, which many mpeg cutters do, but then you do not get frame accurate cuts. This is actually a much better way to cut though because it maintains sync better. I have never got a compliant, in sync mpeg out of TMPGenc's cutting options and personally, I think it is the worst mpeg2 cutter on the market.

BBMPeg does a good job of cutting mpeg2. Other than that, I don't really have any recommendations. Cutting and joining mpeg2 is just really messy.
