hi im a newbie here and i woul like to ask a couple of kestion
i want to convert DIVX to DVD... that part i already know!!!
what i dont no is how can i put a permanet subtitule into the avi???
and the other kestion is when i put the sub will the sub also be automatic convert into a dvd format???? will they be there?????

Use a program called Sub Station Alpha to make your subtitles in .ssa format. Use TextSub filter in Virtual Dub to add these subtitles to your AVI. Frameserve the AVI to TMPGEnc to make your DVD formatted MPEG-2 file. Finally, yes, your video should have your subtitles once they are converted to DVD.
