I'm not a newbie at encoding, but thought I should post in this forum cause I don't know a huge amount about in-depth windows memory workings.

I have always been able to encode multi-gig files into DivX on my computer. Last I did this was some months ago, but recently I've been at it again. Except now, no matter what program I try, whether it be my old trusted tools (NeoDivx or Vidomi) or new ones I've tried these past days, I get nothing but faulty, unfinished files (sometimes audio only). I also seem to be getting alot of "Your Virtual Memory is Too Low" when I wake up from an overnight encoding routine. I never got these messages before, and haven't really loaded on any new memory intensive programs since then. I was able to figure out how to increase my Virtual Memory, and I did so several times and it is now over 1.7 GB, but still I recieve messages and erraneous/incomplete DivX files upon completion.

If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,
Dan
