DivX.com has released a beta of their first official DivX encoding program 'Dr. DivX', if you haven't heard.
I downloaded it recently to give it a shot. Any program actually made by people who for the longest time just pumped their codec was sure to be interesting. The interface was straight-forward, and the pre-encoding process runs smoothly. I haven't yet been able to encode a video without the program crashing, but that may be because my computer hasn't been acting too well recently with encoding in any program. Even without my computer issues, I'm sure there are still some bugs.
To those who've tried it, how do you feel about it?
