    I wanted to enter info for some DVD+R media thats not already in there but I get an error when I try to read the dvd+r media in my NEC ND-1100A drive so I figured I'd try it out at work on my mac

    Is there any app that will tell me the Media Code and stuff on a Macintosh?

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone will say that there is one, but with no answers here and not finding anything at MacUpdate or VersionTracker, it doesn't look good.

    I had heard rumors that Toast could read this info, but if it does, I haven't figured out it out it yet. There are a couple other Mac DVD-burning programs; perhaps they have this feature.[/quote]
