  1. does anyone know how to capture VHS movie, because when I rent movie and try to capture with my ATI capture card.. the sound work but the image still froze.... maybe anti-copy protection.... but how can I capture it anyway??? and does exist a good software for that???

    thanks

    :P

  2. What software are you using. I haves used ulead and adobe prem. and both allowed me to download to h.d. without any problems. I would guess it would be the setting for your software.

what are you using, virtual dub?? somethimes it sticks on the frist frame for me, in the preview window that is, but it is actually captureing, check it out...
You win some, and you lose some, and some get rained out...

  4. you don't understand what I mean.... i can capture from TV or VHS that I have record..... but I can't capture from VHS movie that you rent at rental store.... like Stephen King movie or any copy protected movie... I think I will need a software for decode the crypted signal.... because only the image was froze...the sound is good.... it's like when copy VHS to VHS and you see on copy version the video are fuzzy or with many line or very very dark screen... it's for anti-piracy... so how to RIP VHS who were protected by anti piracy......

  5. Use the Sima Copy Master to get rid of the macrovision. I believe Best But still sells them for $50. If not do a google search for one.
