I'm researching which MPEG hardware capt card to buy and trying to verify which ones allow the use of audio input via the separate audio card in the PC and are not tied to using the onboard stereo in on the capture card itself.
This is so I can maintain the DD 5.1 from the movie channels on my UK Sky+ digi-sat receiver (s-vid out / optical audio out)...
which MPEG (internal PCI) hardware cards can do this ?
(Dazzle, Snazzi, Vitec, Canopus ?...)
(I believe the VIDAC Vmagic won't do it, but they said they have plans to change it around July / August)
Thx a bunch
Steve
