  1. I've painstakingly been trying to create chapters in Scenarist NT 2.0, but failed. How do I divide a title in say, 5 chapters using Scenarist? Do I needt to render 5 separate videofiles (with different audiofiles as well)? Or can Scenarist divide the track into chapters anyways?

  2. No, you don't need to use 5 seperate video streams, you can simply add chapter points to one long MPEG stream. Just read the .pdf manual included in the installation of Scenarist, to learn how to do perform this procedure.

Did you really spend $20,000 for Scenarist? If you simply want to create chapters, many other $50 -$100 will do just that. Some will even tetect the scene chages for you. I use TMPGEnc Author and you can mnually insert chapters and create great working menus. You need to improt your video in MPG2 and then you creat the AUDIO and VIDEO_TS folders and burn them with nero to DVD using DVD/Video option.

    1. On the Track Editor tab (in the directory part), click on the movie.
    2. In the bottom of the view section (“Scenes” area), position the marker at the approximate start of the new scene.
    3. Click on the “New Scene” button or choose New | Scene.
    4. Click (select) on the new scene in the “Scenes” area. Adjust the time in the Property Browser. Hit [Enter].
    5. Repeat for all scenes.
