I have tried now twice to convert a asf file to SVCD mpeg to burn. I am using the "SuperVideoCD (NTSC).mcf" template and the 2-pass VBR Varible Bitrate setting. I leave it running and some hours later I am out of virtual memory and the encoding process is going extremely slower than usual. I have encdoded tons of divx files into SVCD with the same settings with no problems. I am running Windows 2000 SP2 and TMPGEnc beta 12j, CORE version 1.77.113.

Do you use the "higest quality" setting?, if you do then try using High or normal quality.
It worked for me.
