hi,
i had created a photo VCD using NERO 5.5.4 (by clicking and dragging all the JPEG photos in the VCD menu). It works fine, but the silence while viewing the photos doens't look nice. Is there anyway adding some background music?? anyone pls help.

use tmpegenc to encode. this is what i did on my bmp.
on VIDEO, click on your jpeg,
on AUDIO, click on your background music wherever that may be and on OUTPUT, name your file, configure and hit ENCODE. but this works only on each jpeg. after encoding, burn it using Nero. -
read the walk through in the how to author section to the left i made some good stuff using it its prety simple

I researched this myself and actually made a couple of slideshows with sound---let me tell you--it wasn't easy. It ended up taking about 9-16hrs per disc in encoding time, prep time, etc. I seem to remember that I used Virtual Dub to convert it to an avi before I converted it back to mpeg with TMPGenc, but I forgot all of that once I found my simple solution:
WinOnCD 3.8 Power Edition.
When I got that program, what once took me 10hrs took me only 3 minutes to make. It was soooooo easy.
If you can get this program, thats what I would recommend.
