Just wondering how much a WAV file is compressed by if you change it to AC3. I am new to this and have encoded 1 minute of AVI to MPEG2 and the resulting WAV file is 10.6MB which seems big for 1 minute.
How much do you think this file would be reduced with AC3?
Thanks

yes, thats probably about right,
usually, a two-hour movie is about
a 1000 mb or less, using v-dub, you
can use besweet to convert to ac3
and it should come out to 100-300mb
depends on setting you use i guess....
