SVCD (Scandata ?)

What is the Scandata.dat file??

Should i include it?

What should it contain?

Im using Nero to burn SVCDs.

Any help appreciated.

Just make a file using Wordpad or other text editor.

The file should contain the following:

SCAN_VCD

These characters only, no carriage return or line feed
characters after these 8 letters. The file should be
saved as SCANDATA.DAT and it should be 8 bytes. Some may argue this should be lower case, but it would not work for me with my Apex 600a player unless it was upper. You may also need to rename it if it is saved as scandata.dat.txt

You need to drag this file into the EXT folder when you are producing an SVCD with Nero 5.5.3.5. 5.5.4.0 (the latest version) will not let you replace the SCANDATA.DAT file it is using already (which doesn't do a damn thing by the way,
at least from my experiences with it).
