Here's the scoop. I got a concert DVD-R in a trade, and there's no menus. Cheesy bastard, I'll never trade with him again. Anyway, so now I want to rip the VOBs and re-do the whole thing, this time adding menus, etc. The problem is, in the past when I used TMPGEnc to join the segments I extract from the VOBs (using VOBrator) I always need to re-encode the files because it doesn't seem to make perfectly compliant MPEG-2 files. Is there something better out there, or is there a tweak for TMPGEnc so I don't have to re-encode after I rip the VOBs?
