  1. Sorry if it was beaten to death already here. After getting my first DVD-RW drive I amd trying to play catch-up.

    So, What is AUDIO_TS folder needed for? Why is it always empty? In what instances AUDIO_TS is not empty? What will happen if I burn DVD with just VIDEO_TS and without AUDIO_TS? Do DVD players recognize this as a valid DVD disk?

    Not sure why its there to begin with, it might be related to the DVD-Audio standard, but its part of the DVD spec, alot of players don't care however a few will error if it doesn't see one.

  3. I never use the AUDIO_TS folder when I do a backup. Also I have seen several original DVD's that were missing that folder.
