Try pluging in your speakers.
p.s. It's hard to know "wassup" when you ask such a vague question. -

I've created many divx movies using Forty-Two and they all had sound. Sounds strange.

I remember reading this post a couple of days ago, so i did a small test.
I did dvd to every divx option there is in Forty-Two
all of mine seem to work and have sound. (likewise, an interesting note, man is dvd to divx fast!!!!!!!!!!!)
all this to say, i dont know why your's is doing this.
I recommend reinstalling the application from v 1.5 and updating to v1.5.2 and trying this again. I played my divx in both VLC and MPLAYEROSX and they playback quite well with sound. QUicktime will open them but with NO SOUND! these need to be doctored first, then the sound works.
Hope you either got this figured out by now, or reinstalling corrects the problem -
hmm let's see I have ripped 268 dvd's using forty two and had no problems with them using the divX 1 cd option. now I have had about 10 others that did not work either the sound wasn't there(ex From Hell) well with my ripping over the last 3 months i have found 42 to be reliable and really a great easy app. the few out of these that had problems were DVD's that were authored wrong or lower budget movies. the video_ts and audio would be mixed or the name would have empty spaces. in any case on these you use ffmpegX and find the right title for the movie. a few I have had to use 42 or ffmpegX to get the video and use mac3dec to get the audio then use Quicktime to add scaled the two (video and audio) The main point is nothing is 100% but as long as you keep trying you can figure out a good combination and get the job done. 42 for me has been a god sent and a 99% success rate.
Thanx
Peace & Cheers
