  1. does anyone know of a program that can extract an ac3 file from an avi that does not change the header to wave?Ive tried besliced but there seems to be some compatability issues with xp(ive changed the compatability mode but it still doesnt work) ive also tried ac3 fix but it just tells me there is an error and it needs to close! Ive extracted using goldwave whitch just converts it to a full wave file and ive also extracted using vdub but it gives a wave header to the file that i cant change. any help would be aprecciated as im going bald!!!

I have winxp and it works fine to use virtualdub and beslice(be sure to extract all besplit files to a folder and run beslice) or ac3fix. Are you sure it is ac3?
