widescreen movie?

what do you need to do to make a vcd to play in widescreen other then what you need to do to encode the video?

I encoded it, and it plays in widescreen as a file, but when I make an image (is that what you call it?) and burn it on to a cd, it plays in fullscreen.

help?

If you are using TMPGenc to encode your movie just select

Settings > Advanced > Video Arrange Method : Full Screen (keep aspect ratio)

This will encode the movie with the black borders top and bottom. Then use either nero or vcd easy to burn to CD.
