Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the shaking/bobbing up and down of an image when you select the de-interlace mode “Even-Odd Field”?

I believe your field order is incorrect if you see flicker (shaking/bobbing). Try and change your field order. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Your wrong. The Even-Odd field nateraly moves the image up and down by 1 pixle. And thats even when the field order is correct, due to the nature of alternating from even to odd. The thing is, I could have swarn there was a way to prevent this shaking from occuring. Something which alligns every other frame up by 1 pixle or something to allign the images? I'm not sure which is why I'm asking.

Just been looking at solving some interlacing problems and came across www.lukesvideo.com which has some info which may be interesting regarding methods and results of deinterlacing using "adaptive" and Smart Bob filters.
