Okay, I have burnt several backups and about half are fine and half have scattered pixels, stop or something crappy on them, All the pics are there, you can see them if you fast forward. So I have to figure out where the problem might occur.
1. I like to add labels, some backups with labels work fine, other have issues, I have taken the label off and no change in output, probably not the issue.
2. I use dvd shrink and then instant copy to burn. Could dvdshrink be the problem?
3. Media quality, I have optimum from staples and princos. Results seem similar with both. I am considering buying some riteks but read posts complaining about those also. Anyways any help is always appreciated. Please post your successful method!!![]()

Can you compare problem disks to the originals: Are you having problems with DVD9's and not DVD5's? I'm wondering if the movie is overcompressed; are you keeping all the extras as well?

Sometimes I keep the extras sometimes not, I have had issues with dvd9 and dvd5 backups, I was reviewing some of the ones and it appears that the majority are from the optimum brand discs. I will stay away from those for awhile and see what happens.
