Not able to capture with virtual dub

Hi all,

i am getting the error Cannot Find a driver to draw this non-RGB imaging format. Preview and histogram functions will not be available. and goes to caputer mode there though i have the huffey codec installed i do not see any codac listed except no compression dvsd. Please ehlp me to capture the vedio that can be used in cce to autor dvd.

Virtualdub doens't recognize DV devices. I looked at your computer profile and guessed that you're trying to input from DV, right?

I use DVIO, when capturing DV.

You're trying to capture while operating Windows 2000? If so, you need to download a wrapper for Virtualdub. It's in the tools section to the left. Virtualdub uses VFW drivers, but Windows 2000 uses WDM drivers. The wrapper allows Virtualdub to capture under Windows 2000.
