  1. How many of you people out there use VCDEasy? How many of you have actually helped by donating to delphi.stuff?

He's put a huge effort in making it up to the new version 1.1.5 and he's put a lot of his own time and money into maintain the website, guides and proggy.

VCDEasy has got to be one of the best VCD authoring packages out there and it has steadfastly remained freeware.

If you can spare a few bucks, go to http://www.vcdeasy.org/ and donate and show your appreciation!

    Regards.

  3. I'm not entirely sure where your problem lies... VCDEasy can be downloaded from Tucows and there are hundreds of mirrors around the world...

  4. uh......really?

Thanks for pointing out the obvious but here is the problem

when I click on the link to download it, nothing happens, I see something posted about add blocking software interfering with the process. I haven't been able to figure it out and McAfee said I could resolve the problem by calling their 900 tech support number. I've had other issues with McAfee and I'm about unistall it but I don't want to do that until I get a replacement. so in the meantime I'm asking for an alternative way to get VCDeasy and I will gladly make a contribution in return.

  5. As for "pointing out the obvious", you should perhaps post with more detail next time...

You have a few options: turn off whatever "ad-blocking" software you are using. Obviously, it is doing its job a little bit too well.

Secondly, try to go to http://www.tucows.com directly and search for "vcdeasy" with their search engine. You should be able to find it with no troubles.

Alternatively, get rid of the McAfee software altogether and Internet Explorer and use the Mozilla browser. You have much better control over security and it works generally just as well (and it's free): http://www.mozilla.org

  6. The program is now Shareware. I couldn't believe that he was averaging 5 donations per 150,000 downloads! What is wrong with the online community?
