Is it possible to capture to a firewire, or USB 2 drive and have the same results as my internal. NO dropped frames etc....
Thinking of buying another drive and external adapter to make the drive external. They have 2 versions, firewire or USB2.

It depends on how you are capturing.
If you are using DV, or mpeg you will be OK. If you are using uncompressed RGB, then you will need to find another way.Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
Yes firewire drives are fine.
I've yet to drop a frame from DV.
