  1. I NEED/WOULD LIKE INFORMATION ON HOW TO DO THIS. I AM NEW TO THIS PROCESS. I HAVE TRIED TO CREATE A SVCD, BUT THE PICTURE ISN'T THAT CLEAR. I'VE READ THAT IT CAN BE AS CLEAR AS A VHS TAPE. HOW CAN I ACCOMPLISH THIS. WHEN I CAPTURE THE MOVIE, IT LOOKS GOOD ON THE COMPUTER. BUT WHEN I VIEW THE MOVIE ON MY TV, IT LOOKS TERRIBLE. ABOUT 1/2 THE RESOLUTION OF A VHS. I USE ULEAD SOFTWARE TO CAPTURE IT AS AN AVI FILE(720X480). I CAN CONVERT IT TO AN MPEG-2 FILE USING THIS SOFTWARE OR I CAN USE NERO 5.5, INSTANT CD+DVD, OR TMPGENC(I THINK THIS IS THE WAY IT'S SPELLED). I BURN THE CD USING NERO OR INSTANT CD+DVD SOFTWARE. MY QUESTION IS, WHAT IS THE PROCESS AND SETTINGS REQUIRED TO GET A GOOD SVCD? THIS QUESTION INCLUDES HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE.

Personally I think SVCD with VHS tape is a waste of time.
(X)VCD is a better choice. But hey i could be wrong

  4. Didn't mean to shout. I forgot that some people views that caps letters as shouting. It wasn't meant that way. I just had the caps on. I have a 1.3 GHZ, with 384 ram, G2E-force 64mb graphics card(AGP) running under Window ME. Why X(VCD)? What is this?
