Take off early from work and go to the matinee about 1:00-3:00. No lines, no kids, no hassles. Usually even an empty theatre!
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

going to catch a 10 pm show in about 2 1/2 hours, at a little theater not a lot of people know about...

went to see the midnight open of X2, drove to a theater 10 miles away, they had 3 screens, all sold out 45 minutes before the show. drove back toward my house, hit this theater 2 miles from my house, 15 minutes before the show... no problem with tickets.

so I think I'll stop there *first* this time...

  8. should see it tonight. the Brothers are some geniuses. and the Final Flight of The Osris and The Second Reniassance from the animatrix are great. I have faith their work will speak for itself with a loud and long-lasting voice.

i noticed how stupid the sharing networks can be at times. seach for pretty much anything and it throws up entries for this film. none of them are real of course, just people re-labelled their files. i don't understand why anyone would do that, the only reason i can see is to boost their ratings, but anyone using Kazaa lite has a locked maximum rating anyway. all people do is alienate other users and maker sharing networks crap.

The trailer shows no evidence of a story - just a lot of flying through the air and fake fighting where nobody gets hurt, at least not hurt enough to stop fighting and flying.

Oh, and cool shades and long coats. How can you fight with a coat that goes to the floor???

  14. How can one fight in long coats?

    Easy, superhuman powers...
Only thing on the trailer i don't like is Neo flying like Superman..Something about that just strikes me wrong......

Make sure you watch past the end credits. The Easter Egg there is they have a promo for the 3rd film after the credits. Too bad where I saw the film more than 3/4 of the audience had left the theatre by that time...

  17. It's not released in the UK until 23rd May. Didn't see the first one, so have no interest in this one!

Have to wait until May 21 for it to open here in Sweden. We're planning on watching Matrix 1 at work (DVD, projector, surround sound), before taking off to the theatre - Not 21st, but surely not much later...

The Internet version can't compare to the theater experience!!!

I think I would rather see Daddy Daycare and Bruce Almighty. There is just too much violence right now. We need some comic relief.
