  1. Quick question.....Can anyone tell me why whenever I process a file throught TMPGEnc, whether it be mpeg 1 or mpeg 2, it ALWAYS requires autopadding when I put it into VCDEasy?? This is USUALLY not a problem...except for now. Usually the autopadding adds a little extra size to the cd image file, but when you're working with an 800mb image file as it is....when I process the mpeg2 to cut out a few seconds the new mpeg2 needs autopadding bringing the image file to almost a gig!! ?????

Any help as to how to avoid this autopadding predicament would be EXCELLENT!!!

    Thanks.

Autopadding is almost always needed because the file is multiplexed incorrectly. Try demuxing it and remultiplexing, making sure that the type is set to SVCD or VCD, not MPEG-1 or MPEG-2.
