  1. Hello all DTOX users

Have been using "Movie Only" mode for all my burns thus far, with great results. But since I've begun to watch some of them and, as always, get interrupted by the kids, phone etc... it would be nice to have the scene selectors. Wondering how other people feel about the quality of movies using disc copy mode. Since you're compressing more data into the 4.4GB space does the quality of the actual movie suffer when compared to "Movie Only" mode?

    Any opinions?

    Thanks

Movie-only mode retains original chaptering ... that plus the pause button works nicely. Also if you press stop, but not power-off, the player remembers where you were in a movie, and picks up where you left off. Some DVD players let you choose how long it should wait before it shuts off automatically. Some players will just stay in that spot awaiting further instructions. I have one such player, and it waited for me for about three days once! Ooops!

I posted my 2 cents on this somewhere in here!

essentially this is what i have found

    1. movie only copy is better yes
    2. disk copy does look a little worse

but this is on my LCD monitor! when i take the movie only and disk copy to my standalone player they two are really hard to tell the difference between on a standard tv

granted if you have a 52 inch projection or some LCD or plasma wall mounted tv you will probably see the difference like you do on the LCD computer monitor.

Seriously, in my opintion a normal standard tv its really difficult to tell the differnce when sitting on the sofa!

    again, just my 2cents
