There was another thread locked "Films download over the net" because it was or at least seemed related to a request for warez.

There were and may still be legal sites to view online "classic" movies if you have the right browser plugins and you have a fast enough connection. (This is not to be confused with illegal sites who offer pirated recent commercial movies).

NBCI used to have a good collection of older movies and TV shows online for free viewing. I haven't been to their site in a year or more so don't know if they still offer this free service. There are a number of sites who offer independent films for viewing or download at a nominal subscription cost. Some major network/studio sites have cartoons, TV episodes etc.. for online viewing. You just have to search for them.

    None of this is warez.

Each company may place certain restrictions on copying or using their material so you have to abide by their rules.
There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.

I'm answering the guy's question in case he innocently thought all movies are warez cause the other thread was locked.

This is what's good about OT.
