I have an MPG, but the problem is the sound is okay at the start then suddenly goes very quiet for the rest of the movie (the sound is still there, but much lower). How do I raise the sound level, or normalize it?

Besweet will normalize sound for you. However, there is a difference between low audio in a video and low audio on tape from improper microphone adjustment. One can be corrected and the other has little hope of sounding good.
What is the source? I've never heard of that problem with a DVD source, but have heard of it with a CAM.To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
Erm... it was a donloaded video, so I am not sure.
