Hi,
I am quite interested in the possibilities of the WONDER® RADEON™ 8500DV card, and i would like to know before to spend my money for nothing, if this card run with Linux (especially Debian), and if yes, what about the drivers, install,...?
Thanks
Viljami.

I do not think this card will work. If you want to know go to www.ati.com and see if it will work with Linux. I very much do not think it will. There is one linux capture card I have seen made by Pinnacle but do not know how good it
is. Also just a note ATI I have found ati AIW card to be buggy with windows driver's there new driver's have gotten better now that they want more of the gaming market. -
If you haven't found it yet, it says it will work and has drivers but, no capturing software.
Capturing software is only available for the TV Wonder cards.
(I feel ashamed, I did not even realise there was a linux forum until now, I even asked about linux in the PC forum)

there is a project called Gatos for the AIW series, I have a 7500 but it does alot better in windows with MMC, look at the PVR-250 or WinTv 401
