I tried to convert a avi file to mpg using VirtualDub and TMPGenc but it can't convert it.It gives an error.
Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'MP42' (Microsoft High Speed MPEG-4 V2)
VirtualDub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video,DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media player, are not suitable.
Do i need a new codec? If so, may i know what codec do i need and where could i get it?
