  1. I have capture card and my NTSC Hi8 Video camera. I can capture perfectly all my records on the HDD. But, i got one NTSC VHS-C tape and also VHS NTSC tape. When I put those tapes in my video recorder which can playback NTSC signal, on my TV the picture have color, but on my computer, when I connect the video recorder on video in-the picture is black white.

What to do? Why I can't have color picture on my Video card from NTSC VHS or NTSC VHS-C but I have color on NTSC Hi8?

    Thanks

Not enough information to give an accurate answer. Where do you live?, is your standard PAL or NTSC?, Is your TV multi-format or just PAL or NTSC?, How do you have your video card set up, to receive PAL or NTSC? Tell us some useful information about your problem!!

  3. OK.
I am in Europe, my sistem is PAL,
My TV is a Multi sistem-VHS or Hi8 tapes NTSC or PAL or SECAM is perfect on my TV, with color.

My graphic card have button, and when I want to use NTSC I just whitch to NTSC format and then I can connect my Hi8 NTSC camera to graphic card and I can cpture video, when I want then to use PAL sistem I just whitch to PAL an then I can capture my TV signal or from VHS PAL tapes.

So I switched button to NTSC, put NTSC VHS tape into NTSC VCR, push play, connect cable from VCR to Video In, and the pivture is black/white.
I pull out the cable from Video IN, pluged in to the my TV, and the picture is color.

Then I disconected the NTSC VCR, pluged my NTSC Hi 8 camera, conect cable from video camea to video in on my graphic card, switched to NTSC, as before, and the picture was in color?

What can you tell me about this.

    Thank you.

PS. I trued the same NTSC tape with same NTSC VCR on another capture card which can fork with NTSC and PAl, and the NTSC signal from that VHS tape on graphic card was black/white, but from my NTSC Hi8 video camera was color

Try a different NTSC VCR. Either the signal out of the VCR is too weak or it has macrovision.
