Hi,
I have a new DRU500AX(2.0c) and I bought some new DVD+R and DVD+RW from Imation.
I emailed Imation and they said that those DVD's are max 2x.
and that the 4x are coming later this year.
Now my question is if they are OK for 2x does this mean that they are also OK for 2.4X because nero doesn't allow me to burn slower than 2.4X with those media.
(If there isn't a media in the drive nero is giving an option 2.6x or 3.1x)
I burned one DVD+R and one DVD+RW without problem though.
So should I do something about nero ? (5.5.10.28 )

Nero's fine, your DRU burns +r media at 2.4x, because that's what the box says it should do, so does mine. I haven't been able to burn at less than 2.4x with nero either, and that is interesting but hardly a problem, because why would you want to burn slower when the discs work just perfectly? Burn away amigo, your software is working a-ok.
