im trying to convert a 1hr and a half project avi file to mpg using tmpg.whats the best settings to fit on my dvd 4.7g disk? my tv sytem is 25frm/sec pal...im asking this cos im having prbs to burn in dvd workshop using same settings which i use to use before in dvdit pe. i had to stop using it cos dvd media was jamming half way through when project is seen on dvdstand alone players

Not sure I understand what you're doing.
Using DVDit! to encode? Or just author?
Movie stops half-way through? Sounds more like bad media or bad encode, not authoring or burning. Bad burn/author would not have even played.
Anyway, getting back to TMPGenc settings, read the guide in my signature. http://lordsmurf.hypermart.net/conversion/dvdguide.htm
It has some settings for good DVD MPEG2. Just change 29.97 to 25fps. And resolutions from NTSC to PAL ones.
