Is this possible? How to do it? What software is needed to do this? Audio CD must be able to playback on a standalone CD player.

VERY EASY
1. plug source (cassette deck) into LINE IN of sound card
2. adjust input sound volume in 'volume control' properties
3. launch '.WAV' editor

windows supplied recorder may work (not sure)
4. set .wav editor program up to recieve sound from your line in
5. press PLAY on cassette ....... press REC in editor
6. do this for each track **[caution - wave files are big approx 10M/B to a minute]
7. use program such as 'easy CD creator' to autor CD
