I know that 352*576 is a legal res for dvd but is there a limit to the bitrate for this res .....I know cvd is 2778 (icluding audio) but can i use the full 9.8mb/s for this res....the reason i ask is i can capture at this res with pic viedo at 20without (nearly anyway) dropping a frame and i know enlarging it will not look as good i have reaad the dvd facts over there but when it states the dvd file comparion it only states the pal and ntsc standards of 720/576/480...(or whatever it is)

Yes, however it does not appear that 352x480/576 MPEGs can be anamorphic.
