I am using Nero to ripp a dvd , it works fine, just that the movie is to large for the DvD-RW Im trying to burn it to. I can not find any where in nero where I can copy the DVD into seperete files so as to use two DVD-RW. Is there a program that will copy a DVD movie off my DVD drive and let me split it in 2?


PS Im such a newbie at doing this I wear diapers.

1. Nero cannot rip.
2. Look into DVDshrink or DVD2One or DVDXCopy.

So quit buying junk.

Dont get me wrong I am not afraid of paying for something that works , what Im afraid of is to buy it and I still can not get it to work.

I have also tried DVD Decrypter can not get past 63% with out getting a I/O error . Have no idea what is wrong.
I thought if I could decrypt it to the hard drive then maybe get a program that would cut it for me.

Cannot get past 60 percent ? Well, ask some DVDdecrypter questions in the proper forums. I've never had problems with it, otherwise I'd help you out.

Try DVDshrink. It's free. Works okay, though I'm having issues with it on playback. I'm trying DVDToolbox as per forum suggestions to fix the invalid files that DVDshrink CAN sometimes make.
