Hi, I have received the 7 season of Star Trek in avi, and would like to put them onto a dvd-r..
What is the best way to do that, and without losing the quality of the avi clip???
Hope somebody can help??

You don't say which software you have available, but the fastest and easiest method would be to use Quicktime Pro to convert the AVI's to DV (depending on the AVI's codec, this may require using the Classic version of QT), and then iMovie/iDVD to make the DVD.
Without those, your best bet is probably MediaPipe and Sizzle, but you might still need QuickTime's help to get the AVI to a format that Mediapipe "likes."
