Here's what I'm trying to do:
I have some high quality DivX 5.x Farscape episodes. I'm using AVI2SVCD to convert them to SVCDs (NTSC) so I can use DVDlab to make a DVD-R with multiple episodes on a DVD-R. AVI2SVCD is a no brainer....I love that program. But here is my problem...when I run the DivX through AVI2SVCD I end up with a SVCD with a 480x480 res (small edit to the AviSynth script), but the fps is 25 (the DivX and SVCD PAL standard). My SA DVD player (Sony DVP-NS715P) chokes on this DVD-R....obviously. I tired using Avirate to alter the fps from 25 to 23.96 (NTSCfilm) and then run it through AVI2SVCD and it looks great. But....you guessed it, the audio is WAAAAYYYY off. So my question is:
How do you take a DivX 5.x and convert it to a SVCD (NTSC) without spending 50000 hours working on it. Any advice is most welcome. Cheers!
