What is the best DVD-R burning software

@ arcorob, you didn't know that pharoah is a professional at everything from the legal field to quality control specialist at every manufacturing plant in the World? Hard to believe such a "pro" who has so much versatility, seems to be constantly confused and report inaccuracies regularly. Not to mention the fact that they have contradicted themselves numerous times, especially with types of media. By the way, they have tried every type of media from Earth to Mars, and if you don't use the type of media they say you should, then your data will vaporize!

I am a professional videographer. why ? Because I get paid for those services as opposed to an amateur who does not.

Even though Pharoah doesn't get paid for those services, she still knows much more then you. You're just a "rook" trying to come up in the world.....any topic you mention, she'll have an answer and SHOW YOU that you are just a rookie! She really should sign up for the Binion or somethin' because she's the world's greatest poker player...because she's always bluffing and so FULL OF SHIT!

Need to set a few things straight:
1. I'm male, married, with a family.
2. I work in media relations, in an executive position. If you don't understand the field, I'm sorry. What that means to the layman is that I have experience in all aspects of media, from pre-production to post-production products and services. It includes media law, news writing, news photography, editing, and now video and the Internet within the past 5-10 years. The tech for the industry is changing, especially since convergence became popluar in about '99.
3. I'm a paid professional, and with that attitude you carry, I probably make more that you ever will. You'd better grow up. The world is not kind to individuals such as yourself.
4. When you burn hundreds of thousands of pieces of media, including types of paper, paper weights, brands, newsprints, CD media, DVD media, tape brands, etc., you tend to have a highly adept amount of knowledge on the subject. I have done so. And because I do this professionally, I must not only investigate by trial and error, but by reading industry reports, by WRITING industry reports, and by learning about who and how the media are made. When I authorize the reproductions in the millions and millions, I'd better know which media is best (normally referring to paper products in this mass - video is usually just in the hundreds or thousands).


And back to the thread...

I've been running lots of tests on Nero 5.5.10.20 these past few days. The old errors seem to be gone on DVD-Video. I still like DVDit! for menu creation and authoring, but the new Nero may finally be good enough for burning. I'm probably going to authorize its upgrade at work in a few days! We use it there too, mainly for copying though. Would be nice to have all functions working finally.

Pharoah, I won't continue to repeat myself because you aren't worth my time quite honestly. You are a real joker and IF you are a male "genetically" then you are damn sure a "Female" non-genetically.

nero is awesome and rnm is ok but i also had issues with it and nero works for me quick and efficient. some things i had an issue with but for me (pro videographer) nero does my vcds,svcds,dvds,audio all quick and efficiently. dvdit is one of my favorite authoring program (pe 2.5) as well as dvd ws (ulead) and moviefactory 2

defense wrongly attacked pharao for expressing hisopinions and seems like a real ass check out pharaos links he always has good data and seems to be seasoned , defense sounds like a kid ,used to be athlete (proly track) that gets pissed because his sub par record now gets critiqued. well we all dont like it.
