Hi there,
Ive managed to convert a good few avis now using the guides on this site. Ive recently started to have a few problems however. When using virtual dub it has started to tell me that no proper dcompressor coul dbe found. Ok i think , i will try avi to wav....this works fine BUT when the video is finally encoded and burnt on a disc the sound is very choppy, it sounds as if well.......choppy...you know what i mean
The other thing is that TMPEG has started giving me problems, Ive been starting to get an error " read error occured at address 004c7ff3 of module tmpegnc.exe with 03387af8" this happens quite a lot. I increased the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader prority but when i did this the video was kind of garbled when the motion was fast. the funny thing it had been working fine and i had managed to encode half of the movie with no problems and was about to start on the next half that these problems started. weird eh?
Any ideas?
