    I encoded a divx to an svcd but with gmpgenc but somewhere along the line the sound looses sync with the video. At the start the sound is fine but half way through it looses it. I used virtual dub to strip then audio and gmpgenc to encode the whole film. Does anyone know why this might have happened?

    What are the details of your file, does the avi play ok ?
