Video files won't burn , please help

Hi

The problem I have is that when I try and burn a vcd , the actual video file will not burn.

I have tried burning with Nero and VCD easy , and after the burn process is complete , I am left with around 1 MB of files on the cd - I think these are the files automatically generated when you create a vcd.

During the burn process , the video file is shown as burned on , I get the progress bar eg written 13 MB of 26.

I have also tried creating a cd image first and burning that but the same thing happened.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do yuo have problems with burning any other items such as audio or data ? or only video ?

Nope, only video. Audio and data burning works fine.

What is the file you are copying, is it a downloaded one or one you have created yourself ?.

I've tried loads of mpeg and avi files, they're mostly downloaded.
