Is there a better dvd authoring program out there?

I use pinnacle 8.5 but it takes hours to render the file.
I tried using ulead dvd workshop but it cannot create moving image menu's and limited to the way your main menu pages are created.
neodvdplus renders the video very quickly,but is limited in creation of menu's

Is there a dvd authoring program out there that renders in real time and has an option to create moving images in the menu and you have wide options in creating you menu page?

What about using PS8 for editing, another soft. for encoding and back to PS8 for DVD Authoring ?

Try Roxio Video Wave Power Edition 5. Encodes much faster than Pinnacle, and it's a solid product (not like Pinnacle)... It doesn't have as much features, but they all work.

DVDLab is by far the best authoring program out there for less than $600 (it will only cost $79, although the beta is now available for free). I suspect Adobe's Encore will give it some competition regarding higher end features, but it's quite possible DVDLab can evolve to even beat it.

If you haven't tried it yet you need to -- it won't cost you anything and I'm betting you'll get hooked.
